Northern Ballet are recruiting for a Management Accountant to work at our Quarry Hill site in the centre of Leeds.
You will be CCAB/CIMA qualified and have experience of charity accounting. Prior experience of an arts-based organisation and/or Theatre Tax relief/Film tax relief would be advantageous but is not a requirement. We use Pegasus Opera accounting software and whilst experience with this would help it is not expected, however you must be comfortable and proficient with Excel.
You will work closely with the Finance Director and alongside our experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial activities within our trading subsidiary and main charity entity. You will be comfortable in producing timely management accounts and have experience of both the producing and reviewing stages. You will have been involved with producing statutory accounts and have experience supporting other operational teams in accessing financial information.
You will be someone who is adaptable and driven to deliver strong results in any task you undertake. We are a small team who work closely together and are looking to upskill and welcome someone who can provide another viewpoint with the drive to implement beneficial changes to our mature systems.
We strive to offer flexible working and this role can be split remotely and on site as required. Our site will be re-opened and COVID19 ready from early July although the recruitment process will primarily be carried out remotely in the early stages.
