The Learning department work inclusively with children, young people and adults in schools, theatres and community venues to make the work of Northern Ballet accessible to all.
We are now looking to widen our pool of Freelance Dance Artists who will deliver practical dance workshops in educational and community settings on a variety of projects.
A recruitment day will take place in Leeds on Friday 20 July. This is an opportunity to find out more about our programme and future opportunities delivering on it.
Criteria
- Minimum of 2 years experience delivering community dance work
- Some knowledge and experience of ballet technique
Candidates will be asked to prepare and teach a short creative task (15 mins) based on an idea or theme from a fairy tale. This will be followed by an informal interview.
